Today, metals are the featured trade. Gold fell more than $100 per ounce, at point overnight, and silver is down 10%. In case you are not familiar with the silver futures contract size, the approximate $2.50 decline produces a loss $12,500 per contract that you are long from Friday. Copper is down over 3%, as well. Economic data of China roundly disappointed with GDP coming at 7.7% and lower-than-expected consumption data.
